The FDA and Sanofi US have issued a nationwide recall of Auvi-Q (epinephrine injector) due to potential inaccurate dosage delivery.  If your child has an Auvi-Q injector, contact Auvi-Q by email www.Auvi-Q.com or by phone at 1-866-726-6340 for information about how to return their Auvi-Q devices.

Parents should immediately contact one of our office locations for a prescription for an alternate epinephrine auto-injector.  Per the manufacturer, in the event of a life-threatening allergic reaction (anaphylaxis), parents should only use their Auvi-Q if another epinephrine auto-injector is not available and then call 911 or local medical emergency services.  If you need further information, please do not hesitate to call one of our office locations.
