Dr. Bland and his wife, Beryl, an art historian, live in Laytonsville with their daughter, Lauren.
Biography
Dr. Louis Bland was born and raised in New York City. He received his B.S. degree from the City College of New York, and his medical degree from Syracuse Health Science Center, State University of New York. Dr. Bland completed his pediatric training at Bronx Municipal Hospital Center of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He then completed a fellowship in pediatric ambulatory care at Bellevue Hospital, New York University College of Medicine.
Dr. Bland practiced with Group Health Associates for fourteen years before joining this practice in 1995.
Dr. Bland is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is also a member of several national and local medical societies.
