Dr. Mimi Nguyen, who was born in Michigan and grew up in Vietnam, has called Maryland her home since 1975. She received her B.A. with Honors from Goucher College and her Medical Degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Dr. Nguyen completed her pediatric training at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. After her residency, she worked at a health plan in Baltimore and was a part-time clinical instructor in pediatrics at Johns Hopkins Hospital for 3 years. During the last year she also served as Medical Director at Doris Johnson Medical Center. She then followed her husband to Texas where she was in private practice for 2 years. After seeing the light and missing family and friends, Dr. Nguyen, her husband Tuan, a mechanical engineer, and their two daughters decided to move back to this area in 1993.
Dr. Nguyen is Board Certified in Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
