Dr. Valorie Anlage grew up in Salem, Oregon. She attended Stanford University in California, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and graduated with Distinction.
Dr. Anlage received her Medical Degree and completed her Pediatric Residency at the University of Rochester in Rochester, N.Y. After her residency she practiced for two years in Vancouver, Washington before moving back east and joining this group in 1991. Dr. Anlage is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Anlage and her husband Steve, a Physics professor at the University of Maryland, reside in Laurel with their two children, April and Troy.
