At Primary Pediatrics we are continuing to work on ways to support families, protect our staff, and continue to do all we can to care for our patients while still complying with all state and federal guidelines. A few big office changes are discussed here. As always, we are here and available to take care of your concerns either by phone or virtual visit.
If you are currently having trouble finding pediatric care for your child during this pandemic, we are continuing to accept new patients. Please call the office to schedule an appointment.
Virtual Visits Available
For the safety and benefit of both your child and our staff, we will be seeing all sick visits as virtual visits. We are also temporarily suspending all walk-in visits and evening hours until further notice. Our providers are happy to assess your child and help recommend any appropriate care via virtual visit first. If an in-person visit is still needed, they will be scheduled AFTER 2pm.

Well Child Checkups
In light of new state recommendations, we will be expanding our check-up availability to include older children. We will continue to have availability for newborn and infant check-ups, as well as school-age children physicals, in order to accommodate school form requests.
We are still practicing social distancing in accordance with Governor Hogan's latest announcement, so we will be staggering appointments. If possible, we still ask that only ONE parent and NO siblings accompany the patient in order to prevent additional exposures. We are not using the waiting room, and are instead immediately rooming children after registration. We ask that all children 2 years or older and all accompanying adults wear masks at all times in the office.
If your child is due for their check up, please call the office to make an appointment.
We have walk-in hours for sick visits in all 3 of our offices Monday through Friday at 8:00 am only. You must be signed in by 8:15 am. We do not have walk-in hours on Saturday, Sunday or holidays (e.g. New Year’s day or day after Thanksgiving).
