Dr. Brown and his wife take much joy and pride in their two young adult daughters.

Biography

Dr. Brown attended the University of Pennsylvania and received his bachelor of arts degree summa cum laude from Rutgers College in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He earned his medical degree from Rutgers Medical School in 1984.

Dr. Brown completed his pediatric residency training at North Shore University Hospital, a teaching center of Cornell Medical School in Manhasset, New York. After his last year of residency, Dr. Brown spent additional time studying pediatric cardiology at Children’s Hospital National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Brown is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Brown has been repeatedly honored in The Best Doctors in America and also in Washingtonian Magazine’s Top Doctors. Currently, Dr. Brown serves on the executive committee for the Central-Southern Maryland Pediatric Medical Society. Dr. Brown also enjoys several humanitarian medical missions, delivering health care to the poorest in Cambodia.
